महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-35, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
तस्मान्नदीगतं चापि उदपानं यशस्विनः ।
त्रितस्य च महाराज जगामाथ हलायुधः ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
tasmānnadīgataṁ cāpi udapānaṁ yaśasvinaḥ ,
tritasya ca mahārāja jagāmātha halāyudhaḥ.

yaśasvinaḥ tritasya ca mahārāja jagāma atha halāyudhaḥ

yaśasvinaḥ tritasya ca nadīgatam api udapānam jagāma
1. Vaiśampāyana said: 'O great king, Halāyudha (Balarāma) then went to that well (udapāna) which was by the river and belonged to the glorious Trita.'
