महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-1, verse-46

संजयोऽप्यरुदत्तत्र दृष्ट्वा राजानमातुरम् ।
तथा सर्वाः स्त्रियश्चैव गान्धारी च यशस्विनी ॥४६॥
46. saṁjayo'pyarudattatra dṛṣṭvā rājānamāturam ,
tathā sarvāḥ striyaścaiva gāndhārī ca yaśasvinī.

tathā sarvāḥ striyaḥ ca eva gāndhārī ca yaśasvinī
46. saṃjayaḥ api tatra āturam rājānam dṛṣṭvā arudat
tathā sarvāḥ striyaḥ ca eva yaśasvinī gāndhārī ca
46. Saṃjaya also wept there, seeing the distressed king. Similarly, all the women, and the glorious Gāndhārī, also wept.
