महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-9, chapter-1, verse-14

ततः पूर्वाह्णसमये शिबिरादेत्य संजयः ।
प्रविवेश पुरीं दीनो दुःखशोकसमन्वितः ॥१४॥
14. tataḥ pūrvāhṇasamaye śibirādetya saṁjayaḥ ,
praviveśa purīṁ dīno duḥkhaśokasamanvitaḥ.

praviveśa purīm dīnaḥ duḥkha-śoka-samanvitaḥ
14. tataḥ pūrvāhṇa-samaye,

14. Then, in the forenoon, Saṃjaya, having arrived from the camp, entered the city, dejected and overwhelmed with sorrow and grief.
