अपराह्णे महाराज सूतपुत्रः प्रतापवान् ।
जघान सोमकान्सर्वान्भीमसेनस्य पश्यतः ।
भीमोऽप्यतिबलः सैन्यं धार्तराष्ट्रं व्यपोथयत् ॥७॥

aparāhṇe pratāpavān sūtaputraḥ bhīmasenasya paśyataḥ sarvān somakān jaghāna.

Sañjaya said: "O great king, in the afternoon, the glorious son of the charioteer (Karna) killed all the Somakas while Bhīmasena was watching. And Bhīma, exceedingly strong, crushed the Dhārtarāṣṭra army."
