महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-135, verse-38

तौ पुनः संन्यवर्तेतां प्राणद्यूतपरे रणे ।
निवारयन्तौ बाणौघैः परस्परममर्षिणौ ।
उत्सृजन्तौ महेष्वासौ शरवृष्टीः समन्ततः ॥३८॥
38. tau punaḥ saṁnyavartetāṁ prāṇadyūtapare raṇe ,
nivārayantau bāṇaughaiḥ parasparamamarṣiṇau ,
utsṛjantau maheṣvāsau śaravṛṣṭīḥ samantataḥ.

38. Again, those two unyielding, mighty archers, staking their lives in that battle, engaged in combat. They warded off each other with volleys of arrows, continuously releasing showers of arrows all around.
