महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-135, verse-23

आचार्यपुत्र दुर्बुद्धे किमन्यैर्निहतैस्तव ।
समागच्छ मया सार्धं यदि शूरोऽसि संयुगे ।
अहं त्वां निहनिष्यामि तिष्ठेदानीं ममाग्रतः ॥२३॥

23. ācāryaputra durbuddhe kimanyairnihataistava ,
samāgaccha mayā sārdhaṁ yadi śūro'si saṁyuge ,
ahaṁ tvāṁ nihaniṣyāmi tiṣṭhedānīṁ mamāgrataḥ.

yadi śūraḥ asi saṃyuge aham tvām

23. ācāryaputra durbuddhe tava anyaiḥ nihataiḥ kim? yadi saṃyuge śūraḥ asi,
mayā sārdham samāgaccha.
aham tvām nihaniṣyāmi.
idānīm mama agrataḥ tiṣṭha.

23. O son of the teacher, O foolish one, what is the use of your having killed others? Come, fight with me, if you are truly brave in battle. I will kill you; stand before me now!
