इमां तु रजनीं प्राप्तामप्रभातां सुदुर्मते ।
निहत्य पितरं तेऽद्य ततस्त्वामपि संयुगे ।
नेष्यामि मृत्युलोकायेत्येवं मे मनसि स्थितम् ॥३१॥

31. imāṁ tu rajanīṁ prāptāmaprabhātāṁ sudurmate ,

31.
sudurmate! tu imām prāptām aprabhātām rajanīm,
adya te pitaram nihatya,

31.
But, O exceedingly evil-minded one, during this very night that has arrived and is still undawned, having killed your father, I will then lead you also to the realm of death in battle. This is what is fixed in my mind.
