स छाद्यमानः समरे द्रौणिना युद्धदुर्मदः ।
द्रौणिं पाञ्चालतनयो वाग्भिरातर्जयत्तदा ॥२९॥

29. Though he, the son of the Pāñcāla king and fierce in battle, was being overwhelmed in the fight by Aśvatthāmā, he then threatened Aśvatthāmā with words.
