महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-106, verse-45

तत्र भारत भीमं तु दृष्टवन्तः स्म सायकैः ।
समाचिततनुं संख्ये श्वाविधं शललैरिव ॥४५॥
45. tatra bhārata bhīmaṁ tu dṛṣṭavantaḥ sma sāyakaiḥ ,
samācitatanuṁ saṁkhye śvāvidhaṁ śalalairiva.
45. तत्र भारत भीमम् तु दृष्टवन्तः स्म सायकैः
समाचिततनुम् संख्ये श्वाविधम् शललैः इव

45. O descendant of Bharata, in that battle, we saw Bhima—his body completely covered with arrows, just like a porcupine bristling with its quills.
