महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-7, chapter-106, verse-25

स यथावन्महाराज विद्यया वै सुपूजितः ।
आचार्यवन्महेष्वासः कर्णः पर्यचरद्रणे ॥२५॥
25. sa yathāvanmahārāja vidyayā vai supūjitaḥ ,
ācāryavanmaheṣvāsaḥ karṇaḥ paryacaradraṇe.

25. O great king, that Karna, the mighty bowman, truly well-versed in his knowledge and like one who honors his teacher (guru) (or having the skill of a guru), conducted himself skillfully in battle.
