महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-63, verse-40

वयस्यत्वात्तु ते ब्रह्मन्नपराधमिमं क्षमे ।
नेदृशं ते पुनर्वाच्यं यदि जीवितुमिच्छसि ॥४०॥
40. vayasyatvāttu te brahmannaparādhamimaṁ kṣame ,
nedṛśaṁ te punarvācyaṁ yadi jīvitumicchasi.
40. vayasyatvāt tu te brahman aparādham imam kṣame
na īdṛśam te punaḥ vācyam yadi jīvitum icchasi
40. O Brahmin, because of our friendship, I forgive this offense of yours. However, if you wish to live, such a thing must not be said by you again.
