महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-4, chapter-63, verse-23

राजमार्गाः क्रियन्तां मे पताकाभिरलंकृताः ।
पुष्पोपहारैरर्च्यन्तां देवताश्चापि सर्वशः ॥२३॥
23. rājamārgāḥ kriyantāṁ me patākābhiralaṁkṛtāḥ ,
puṣpopahārairarcyantāṁ devatāścāpi sarvaśaḥ.

puṣpopahāraiḥ arcyantām devatāḥ ca api sarvaśaḥ
23. Let my royal roads be adorned with banners. And let the deities also be worshipped everywhere with offerings of flowers.
