इत्येतन्मात्स्यकं नाम पुराणं परिकीर्तितम् ।
आख्यानमिदमाख्यातं सर्वपापहरं मया ॥५३॥

53. Thus, this Purāṇa, named Mātsyaka, has been recounted. This narration, which removes all sins, has been told by me.
