मनुं मत्स्यस्ततो दृष्ट्वा पुनरेवाभ्यभाषत ।
नय मां भगवन्साधो समुद्रमहिषीं प्रभो ।
गङ्गां तत्र निवत्स्यामि यथा वा तात मन्यसे ॥१८॥

18.
Then the fish, having seen Manu, spoke to him again: "O venerable one (bhagavan), O virtuous one (sādho), O lord (prabho), take me to the Gaṅgā, who is the ocean's queen (samudramahiṣī). I will reside there, or as you, dear father (tāta), deem appropriate."
