महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-3, chapter-185, verse-16

तत्र तं प्राक्षिपच्चापि मनुः परपुरंजय ।
अथावर्धत मत्स्यः स पुनर्वर्षगणान्बहून् ॥१६॥

16. tatra taṁ prākṣipaccāpi manuḥ parapuraṁjaya ,
athāvardhata matsyaḥ sa punarvarṣagaṇānbahūn.

16. tatra tam prākṣipat ca api manuḥ parapuraṃjaya
atha avardhata matsyaḥ sa punaḥ varṣagaṇān bahūn

16. And there, O conqueror of enemy cities (parapuraṃjaya), Manu placed that fish. Then, that fish again grew larger for many years.

16. הו כובש ערי אויבים, גם שם הניח אותו מַנוּ, והדג גדל שוב במשך שנים רבות.
