महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-9

अथ चेत्तं निहत्याजौ शेषेणाभिसमागताः ।
प्राप्नुयाम ततः स्वर्गं ज्ञातित्राणपरायणाः ॥९॥
9. atha cettaṁ nihatyājau śeṣeṇābhisamāgatāḥ ,
prāpnuyāma tataḥ svargaṁ jñātitrāṇaparāyaṇāḥ.
9. atha cet tam nihatya ājau śeṣeṇa abhisamāgatāḥ
prāpnuyāma tataḥ svargam jñātitrāṇaparāyaṇāḥ
9. And if, intent on saving our kinsmen, we were to kill him in battle and unite with the remaining (allies), we would then attain heaven.
