महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-22

अथ काक्षीवतः पुत्रं गौतमस्य महात्मनः ।
शुश्राव तपसि श्रान्तमुदारं चण्डकौशिकम् ॥२२॥

22. Then he heard about the noble Caṇḍakauśika, who was the son of Kakṣīvat and of the great-souled Gautama, and who was exhausted from his ascetic practices (tapas).
