महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-38

ते चतुष्पथनिक्षिप्ते जरा नामाथ राक्षसी ।
जग्राह मनुजव्याघ्र मांसशोणितभोजना ॥३८॥

38. O tiger among men, then a female demon named Jarā, who subsisted on flesh and blood, picked up those two parts that had been discarded at a crossroads.
