तयोश्चकार समयं मिथः स पुरुषर्षभः ।
नातिवर्तिष्य इत्येवं पत्नीभ्यां संनिधौ तदा ॥१७॥

17. Then, that best among men (puruṣarṣabhaḥ) made a mutual agreement in the presence of his two wives, declaring, 'I will not transgress [this pact].'
