महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-4

सुनयस्यानपायस्य संयुगे परमः क्रमः ।
संशयो जायते साम्ये साम्यं च न भवेद्द्वयोः ॥४॥
4. sunayasyānapāyasya saṁyuge paramaḥ kramaḥ ,
saṁśayo jāyate sāmye sāmyaṁ ca na bhaveddvayoḥ.

saṃśayaḥ jāyate sāmye sāmyam ca na bhavet dvayoḥ
4. The supreme method (krama) in battle (saṃyuge) comes from a good (sunaya) and unfailing (anapāya) policy. Doubt (saṃśaya) arises from parity (sāmye), and there should be no equality (sāmyam) between two.
