महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-39

कर्तुकामा सुखवहे शकले सा तु राक्षसी ।
संघट्टयामास तदा विधानबलचोदिता ॥३९॥
39. kartukāmā sukhavahe śakale sā tu rākṣasī ,
saṁghaṭṭayāmāsa tadā vidhānabalacoditā.

39. But that demoness, wishing to make those two auspicious pieces fit together comfortably, then joined them, prompted by the power of (vidhāna) destiny.
