महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-2, chapter-16, verse-19

तयोर्मध्यगतश्चापि रराज वसुधाधिपः ।
गङ्गायमुनयोर्मध्ये मूर्तिमानिव सागरः ॥१९॥
19. tayormadhyagataścāpi rarāja vasudhādhipaḥ ,
gaṅgāyamunayormadhye mūrtimāniva sāgaraḥ.
19. tayoḥ madhyagataḥ ca api rarāja vasudhādhipaḥ
gaṅgāyamunayoḥ madhye mūrtimān iva sāgaraḥ
19. And the lord of the earth (vasudhādhipaḥ), situated between those two (wives), appeared splendid, like the ocean (sāgaraḥ) personified, situated between the Ganga and Yamuna rivers.
