महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-18, chapter-5, verse-7

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
गन्तव्यं कर्मणामन्ते सर्वेण मनुजाधिप ।
शृणु गुह्यमिदं राजन्देवानां भरतर्षभ ।
यदुवाच महातेजा दिव्यचक्षुः प्रतापवान् ॥७॥
7. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
gantavyaṁ karmaṇāmante sarveṇa manujādhipa ,
śṛṇu guhyamidaṁ rājandevānāṁ bharatarṣabha ,
yaduvāca mahātejā divyacakṣuḥ pratāpavān.

idam rājan devānām bharatarṣabha yat

7. Vaishampayana said: O lord of men (manujādhipa), everyone must reach their destination at the culmination of their actions (karma). Listen, O king, O best of Bharatas (Bharatarṣabha), to this secret of the gods, which was spoken by the greatly effulgent, divinely-sighted, and powerful sage.
