50.
One should never abandon natural law (dharma) out of desire (kāma), fear, or greed, not even for the sake of one's life. Natural law (dharma) is eternal, while happiness and sorrow are impermanent. The individual soul (jīva) is eternal, but the causal factor for its transient experiences (the body) is impermanent.
