महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-18, chapter-5, verse-45

भारताध्ययनात्पुण्यादपि पादमधीयतः ।
श्रद्दधानस्य पूयन्ते सर्वपापान्यशेषतः ॥४५॥

45. For one who studies even a quarter of the sacred study of the Mahābhārata with faith, all sins are completely purified.
