महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-18, chapter-5, verse-53

महाभारतमाख्यानं यः पठेत्सुसमाहितः ।
स गच्छेत्परमां सिद्धिमिति मे नास्ति संशयः ॥५३॥
53. mahābhāratamākhyānaṁ yaḥ paṭhetsusamāhitaḥ ,
sa gacchetparamāṁ siddhimiti me nāsti saṁśayaḥ.
53. mahābhāratam ākhyānam yaḥ paṭhet susamāhitaḥ sa
gacchet paramām siddhim iti me na asti saṃśayaḥ
53. yaḥ susamāhitaḥ mahābhāratam ākhyānam paṭhet,
sa paramām siddhim gacchet; iti me saṃśayaḥ na asti
53. Whoever recites the Mahābhārata narrative with full concentration, that person will achieve supreme perfection. Of this, I have no doubt.
