महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-84, verse-49

स विनीय मदक्रोधौ मानमीर्ष्यां च निर्वृतः ।
नित्यं पञ्चोपधातीतैर्मन्त्रयेत्सह मन्त्रिभिः ॥४९॥
49. sa vinīya madakrodhau mānamīrṣyāṁ ca nirvṛtaḥ ,
nityaṁ pañcopadhātītairmantrayetsaha mantribhiḥ.

49. Having overcome pride, anger, arrogance, and envy, the king, being tranquil, should always consult with ministers who have passed beyond the five forms of moral scrutiny (pañcopadhā).
