यस्त्वल्पेनापि कार्येण सकृदाक्षारितो भवेत् ।
पुनरन्यैर्गुणैर्युक्तो न मन्त्रं श्रोतुमर्हति ॥३७॥

37. yastvalpenāpi kāryeṇa sakṛdākṣārito bhavet ,
punaranyairguṇairyukto na mantraṁ śrotumarhati.

37. He who, even for a trifling matter, has been provoked or offended once, even if he is otherwise endowed with good qualities, is not worthy of hearing secret counsel (mantra).
