महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-84, verse-28

मन्त्रिण्यननुरक्ते तु विश्वासो न हि विद्यते ।
तस्मादननुरक्ताय नैव मन्त्रं प्रकाशयेत् ॥२८॥

28. mantriṇyananurakte tu viśvāso na hi vidyate ,
tasmādananuraktāya naiva mantraṁ prakāśayet.

| tasmāt ananuraktāya na eva mantram prakāśayet

28. ananurakte mantriṇi tu viśvāsaḥ na hi vidyate tasmāt ananuraktāya mantram na eva prakāśayet.

28. Indeed, there is no trust (viśvāsaḥ) in a minister (mantriṇi) who is disloyal (ananurakte). Therefore, one should certainly never disclose counsel (mantram) to such a disloyal person (ananuraktāya).
