महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-84, verse-39

ज्ञानविज्ञानसंपन्नः प्रकृतिज्ञः परात्मनोः ।
सुहृदात्मसमो राज्ञः स मन्त्रं श्रोतुमर्हति ॥३९॥
39. jñānavijñānasaṁpannaḥ prakṛtijñaḥ parātmanoḥ ,
suhṛdātmasamo rājñaḥ sa mantraṁ śrotumarhati.

suhṛd ātma samaḥ rājñaḥ saḥ mantram śrotum arhati

39. One who is endowed with both theoretical knowledge (jñāna) and practical wisdom (vijñāna), who understands the intrinsic nature (prakṛti) of both others and oneself, who is a true friend and considers himself equal to the king's own self—such a person is worthy to hear counsel (mantra).
