अनृजुस्त्वनुरक्तोऽपि संपन्नश्चेतरैर्गुणैः ।
राज्ञः प्रज्ञानयुक्तोऽपि न मन्त्रं श्रोतुमर्हति ॥३३॥

33. But a person who is not straightforward, even if they are loyal and endowed with other good qualities, and even if they possess wisdom (prajñāna) useful to the king, is not worthy of hearing confidential counsel.
