महाभारतः mahābhārataḥ - book-12, chapter-84, verse-32

यस्तु संहरते तानि भर्तुः प्रियचिकीर्षया ।
समानसुखदुःखं तं पृच्छेदर्थेषु मानवम् ॥३२॥

32. yastu saṁharate tāni bhartuḥ priyacikīrṣayā ,
samānasukhaduḥkhaṁ taṁ pṛcchedartheṣu mānavam.

32. But the person who controls those (difficulties or potential anger) with a desire to please his master, that human being who shares equally in joy and sorrow, one should consult him in (important) matters.
