महाभारतः       mahābhārataḥ - book-11, chapter-16, verse-1

वैशंपायन उवाच ।
एवमुक्त्वा तु गान्धारी कुरूणामाविकर्तनम् ।
अपश्यत्तत्र तिष्ठन्ती सर्वं दिव्येन चक्षुषा ॥१॥
1. vaiśaṁpāyana uvāca ,
evamuktvā tu gāndhārī kurūṇāmāvikartanam ,
apaśyattatra tiṣṭhantī sarvaṁ divyena cakṣuṣā.

āvivartanam apaśyat tatra tiṣṭhantī sarvam divyena cakṣuṣā
1. vaiśaṃpāyanaḥ uvāca.
gāndhārī tu evam uktvā,
tatra tiṣṭhantī,
divyena cakṣuṣā kurūṇām sarvam āvivartanam apaśyat.
1. Vaiśaṃpāyana said: Having spoken these words, Gāndhārī, standing at that spot, perceived the complete destruction of the Kurus with her divine sight.
