क्वचित्कज्जलजालस्य ज्वालाकनकदाकृते ।
खेदिना घनकूर्माभं सङ्गेनैव स्वकोटरे ॥ ३७ ॥

khedinā ghanakūrmābhaṃ saṅgenaiva svakoṭare 37

37. kvacit kajjalajālasya jvālākanakadā-ākṛte |
khedinā ghana-kūrmā-ābham saṅgena eva svakoṭare ||

37. Sometimes, (it manifests) in a form like gold-giving flames, (arising) from a mass of soot. (This is experienced) by a weary one, resembling a dense tortoise, through mere contact within its own cavity.

37. לעיתים הייתי פיח המנורה (כַּגָ'אלָה) הנכלא בתוך כלי כהה, נראה כצב כהה במאורתו עקב החשיכה והמגע עם הפיח.
