वह्निलोकमिव व्योम्नि वडवाग्निमिवार्णवे ।
ततोऽपश्यमहं दीप्तं सूर्यं नैर्ऋतदिङ्मुखे ॥ ३ ॥

(The second sun appeared) like a world of fire (vahnilokam iva) in the sky (vyomni), or like the submarine fire (vaḍavāgnim iva) in the ocean (arṇave). Then (tataḥ), I (aham) saw (apaśyam) a resplendent (dīptam) sun (sūryam) in the southwest (nairṛtadiṅmukhe).
