65. The winds blew with great speed. They had brilliant, coal-white flames, which, due to the heat of the ashes generated from forests of violently agitated, bursting fire-trees, bore the impact of scattering clouds and wandering firebrands. They were dark-colored, with rows of flames shining amidst falling peaks of fire, and possessed an exceedingly swift velocity, like a boundless conflagration.
