I beheld a second sun (dvitīyam arkam), clearly risen (abhyuditam) in the west (paścāt) at midday (madhyāhne). It was like a conflagration consuming the cardinal directions (digdāham iva) on the horizon (digvakre), and like a forest fire (vanadāham iva) raging on a mountain (acale).
