योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-75, verse-9

सर्वदिक्कं ददाहोच्चैः शुष्कं वनमिवानलः ।
अथोदभूज्जगत्खण्डशोषणग्रीष्मवासरः ॥ ९ ॥
sarvadikkaṃ dadāhoccaiḥ śuṣkaṃ vanamivānalaḥ ,
athodabhūjjagatkhaṇḍaśoṣaṇagrīṣmavāsaraḥ 9
9. sarvadikkam dadāha uccaiḥ śuṣkam vanam iva analaḥ
atha udabhūt jagatkhaṇḍaśoṣaṇagrīṣmavāsaraḥ
9. (tat vapuḥ) analaḥ śuṣkam vanam iva uccaiḥ sarvadikkam dadāha.
atha jagatkhaṇḍaśoṣaṇagrīṣmavāsaraḥ udabhūt.
9. (That form) burnt intensely in all directions, like a fire consuming a dry forest. Then, a summer day that would dry up fragments of the entire world arose.
