योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-75, verse-1

श्रीवसिष्ठ उवाच ।
अथाग्रस्थब्रह्मलोको ब्रह्मणि ध्यानशालिनि ।
निक्षिप्ताक्षः शनैर्दिक्षु दृष्टवानहमग्रतः ॥ १ ॥
śrīvasiṣṭha uvāca ,
athāgrasthabrahmaloko brahmaṇi dhyānaśālini ,
nikṣiptākṣaḥ śanairdikṣu dṛṣṭavānahamagrataḥ 1
1. śrīvasiṣṭhaḥ uvāca atha agrasthabrahmalokaḥ brahmaṇi
dhyānaśālini nikṣiptākṣaḥ śanaiḥ dikṣu dṛṣṭavān aham agrataḥ

1. Śrī Vasiṣṭha said: Then, I, with my gaze fixed (nikṣiptākṣaḥ) on Brahmā—who is the foremost (agrastha) lord of Brahmaloka and deeply engaged in meditation (dhyānaśālini)—gradually looked (dṛṣṭavān) forth (agrataḥ) in all directions (dikṣu).
