योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-178, verse-16

संविदप्रतिघाकारा यदि सप्रतिघात्मकम् ।
चालयेदचलिष्यत्तद्दूरमम्भो यदिच्छया ॥ १६ ॥
saṃvidapratighākārā yadi sapratighātmakam ,
cālayedacaliṣyattaddūramambho yadicchayā 16
16. saṃvid apratighākārā yadi sapratighātmakam
cālayet acaliṣyat tat dūram ambhaḥ yat icchayā
16. If consciousness (saṃvid), whose nature is unimpeded, were to move something of an impeded nature, then that (object) would move a great distance, just as water (moves) by its (consciousness's) will.
