All this universe, which possesses the essence of space, arises from the tranquil (śānta). However, the tranquil (śānta) itself is not any specific thing; it does not manifest as an 'existent' (sat) identified by a name. In that vast expanse (vyoman), which constitutes the body of the infinite consciousness (anantacit), this infinite form (anantavapus) shines forth merely as an all-pervading radiance.
