योगवासिष्ठः yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-145, verse-71

एवंविधान्यनेकानि पश्यन्त्यनुभवन्ति च ।
बहिरेव यथा स्वप्ने वस्तुन्यसमधातवः ॥ ७१ ॥

evaṃvidhānyanekāni paśyantyanubhavanti ca ,
bahireva yathā svapne vastunyasamadhātavaḥ 71

71. evaṃvidhāni anekāni paśyanti anubhavanti ca
bahiḥ eva yathā svapne vastuni asamadhātavaḥ

71. asamadhātavaḥ evaṃvidhāni anekāni bahiḥ eva
paśyanti anubhavanti ca yathā svapne vastuni

71. Thus, those whose bodily constituents (dhātu) are unbalanced see and experience many such things only externally, just as one does in a dream regarding a perceived object.
