योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-7, chapter-145, verse-57

बह्वेव वह्निबहुना स्वल्पेनाल्पं प्रपश्यति ।
वातपित्तादियोगेन बहिरन्तश्च संभ्रमम् ॥ ५७ ॥
bahveva vahnibahunā svalpenālpaṃ prapaśyati ,
vātapittādiyogena bahirantaśca saṃbhramam 57
57. bahū eva vahni-bahunā svalpena alpaṃ prapaśyati
vāta-pitta-ādi-yogena bahiḥ antaḥ ca saṃbhramam
57. (janaḥ) vahni-bahunā bahū eva (lakṣayati) svalpena (ca) alpaṃ prapaśyati.
(tathā) vāta-pitta-ādi-yogena bahiḥ ca antaḥ ca saṃbhramam prapaśyati.
57. One perceives much as great and little as small, corresponding to much or little 'fire' (vahni). Through the combination of vāta, pitta, and other humors (doṣas), one experiences confusion both externally and internally.
