यदा त्वन्तर्मुखान्येव सन्त्यक्षाणि तदा जगत् ।
अणुमात्रं स्ववपुषि जीवस्तेनातिवेत्ति तत् ॥ ३ ॥

yadā tu akṣāṇi antarmukhāni eva santi,
tadā jīvaḥ tena tat jagat sva vapuṣi aṇumātram ativetti .

But when the senses are indeed inward-facing, then, due to this, the individual soul (jīva) intensely perceives that world (as if it were) merely an atom within its own body.
