स्वेदमुष्णीकृताब्धिं वा स्विन्नं त्रैलोक्यमण्डलम् ।
क्षरत्क्षाराण्यरण्यानि प्रतर्दगहनान्यपि ॥ २७ ॥

27. (The lands where) sweat (sveda) has heated (uṣṇīkṛta) the ocean (abdhi), or as if the entire sphere of the three worlds (trailokya-maṇḍala) has perspired (svinna); and whose forests (araṇyāni) and even impenetrable thickets (gahana) are flowing (kṣarat) with salty residues (kṣāra) and appear scorched by fire (pratarda).
