योगवासिष्ठः       yogavāsiṣṭhaḥ - book-3, chapter-54, verse-53

मनः कल्पनसामर्थ्यं त्यजत्यस्य विमोहतः ।
अविवेकेन तेनासौ महामोहे निमज्जति ॥ ५३ ॥
manaḥ kalpanasāmarthyaṃ tyajatyasya vimohataḥ ,
avivekena tenāsau mahāmohe nimajjati 53
53. manaḥ kalpanasāmarthyam tyajati asya vimohataḥ
avivekena tena asau mahāmohe nimajjati
53. asya manaḥ vimohataḥ kalpanasāmarthyam
tyajati tena avivekena asau mahāmohe nimajjati
53. His mind (manas) abandons its power of imagination due to utter delusion. Therefore, through a lack of discrimination (aviveka), he sinks into a state of profound delusion (mahāmoha).
