वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-63, verse-44

उपालम्भभयाच्चापि नासि वीर मया हतः ।
कृतकर्मा परिश्रान्तो विश्रान्तः पश्य मे बलम् ॥४४॥
44. upālambhabhayāccāpi nāsi vīra mayā hataḥ ,
kṛtakarmā pariśrānto viśrāntaḥ paśya me balam.
44. upālambhabhayāt ca api na asi vīra mayā hataḥ
kṛtakarmā pariśrāntaḥ viśrāntaḥ paśya me balam
44. vīra mayā upālambhabhayāt ca api na asi hataḥ

44. O hero, I did not kill you, not even out of fear of blame. Now that you have accomplished your task, are exhausted, and have rested, behold my strength.
