वाल्मीकि-रामायणम्       vālmīki-rāmāyaṇam - book-6, chapter-63, verse-10

तां शिलां तु प्रचिक्षेप राक्षसाय महाबलः ।
बिभेद तां शिलां कुम्भः प्रसन्नैः पञ्चभिः शरैः ॥१०॥
10. tāṃ śilāṃ tu pracikṣepa rākṣasāya mahābalaḥ ,
bibheda tāṃ śilāṃ kumbhaḥ prasannaiḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ.

tām śilām kumbhaḥ prasannaiḥ pañcabhiḥ śaraiḥ
10. mahābalaḥ tu tām śilām rākṣasāya pracikṣepa kumbhaḥ

10. But the mighty Mainda hurled that rock at the demon (Kumbha). Kumbha, with five precise arrows, pierced that rock.
