मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-128, verse-7

ऋषीणामाश्रमस्थानाममीषामवनीपते ।
मयि शासति दुर्वृत्तैर्दूषितानि हवींषि च ॥७॥
7. ṛṣīṇāmāśramasthānāmamīṣāmavanīpate .
mayi śāsati durvṛttairdūṣitāni havīṃṣi ca.
7. ṛṣīṇām āśramasthānām amīṣām avanīpate mayi
śāsati durvṛttaiḥ dūṣitāni havīṃṣi ca
7. O king, while I was ruling, the sacrificial offerings (havis) of these sages, who reside in the hermitages, were defiled by wicked individuals.
