मार्कण्डेय-पुराणम्       mārkaṇḍeya-purāṇam - chapter-128, verse-27

मरुत्त उवाच ।
मित्रं वा बान्धवो वाऽपि पिता वा यदि वा गुरुः ।
प्रजापालनविघ्नाय यो हन्तव्यः स भूभृता ॥२७॥
27. marutta uvāca .
mitraṃ vā bāndhavo vā'pi pitā vā yadi vā guruḥ .
prajāpālanavighnāya yo hantavyaḥ sa bhūbhṛtā.
27. maruttaḥ uvāca mitram vā bāndhavaḥ vā api pitā vā yadi
vā guruḥ prajāpālanavighnāya yaḥ hantavyaḥ saḥ bhūbhṛtā
27. Marutta said: Whether it is a friend, a relative, or even a father, or a spiritual teacher (guru), anyone who obstructs the protection of the subjects should be killed by a king (bhūbhṛt).
